Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-orientated production assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems for manufacturing and NPI pilot building according to technical drawings and specifications, ensuring quality and precision in every build.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in the mechanical and electronics manufacturing sector
  • Experience on fast paced environment
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
  • Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
  • Maintaining a clean work area and equipment

    Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical parts and electronic parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
  • Follow assembly instructions, positioning or aligning components and parts through technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Use cable stretch, cable cutter, dies, jigs, shims and other equipment to ensure the assembling.
  • Follow all ESD applicable methods
  • Soldering under a microscope electronic components and cables and harnesses to IPC standards, IPC 610 desirable, IPC 7711/7721 a plus
  • Working closely with the team and focusing on the priorities given to meet customer needs and deadlines.
  • Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, reviewing cable assembly diagrams to ensure finished components meet customer specifications
  • Ability to understand and implement ECO’s
  • Basic know how to navigate an ERP for discrete w/o and material transactions.
    Team Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to drive continuous quality improvements and problem resolutions.
