REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in cable assembly, soldering, or a similar technical role preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Good Time keeping
  • Able read and understand Work Instructions (with training)
  • Able to use a measuring device (ruler)
  • Soldering experience
  • Crimping experience (hand tools and machine)
  • Willing to learn!!
  • Can work sitting or standing
  • Good eyesight
  • Can use general hand tools - cable cutters, pliers, screwdrivers etc….

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our dynamic team. This role involves precision work, including crimping, soldering, and assembling a wide array of cable products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and committed to maintaining the highest quality standards in all production outputs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Soldering and assembling electronic components to a high standard
  • Following technical drawings and work instructions
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Working efficiently to meet production targets
  • Assemble cables and wire harnesses according to specific drawings and specifications.
  • Perform crimping and soldering tasks to secure connections and ensure functionality.
  • Inspect and test cables and assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols.
  • Document production details and report any issues to the production supervisor.
