Your Impact: Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, stakers, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders. Rotates in other work cells as directed by Supervisor or Cell Leader. Packs finished product for shipment. Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment. Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements. Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience: Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred. Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment. Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency. Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.
Responsibilities
Sets up and operates various assembly equipment and packs finished products for shipment. Maintains a safe and clean work environment while participating in cell improvements.
