THE POSITION:

We are seeking a Production Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Shop Production Coordinator, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role managing customer orders, overseeing custom projects, ensuring fulfillment timelines are met, handling client inquiries, and serving as a liaison between departments.

THE QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the packaging and preparation of pergolas for shipment
  • Gather all required parts, components, and materials to complete pergola production jobs
  • Prepare pergolas for painting (both U.S. and Canadian orders)
  • Post-paint, assist with tasks such as hardware removal, component installation, bagging, pallet assembly, and organizing materials on skids
  • Read and interpret instruction manuals to accurately identify parts and ensure all components are included for each pergola build
  • Support local pergola deliveries as needed, including unloading and safely placing items at the customer’s residence (e.g., backyard or garage) alongside another team member
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across departments and provide support with custom or standard screen production as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
