Description Job Summary The Production Assistant — Lamination Emphasis provides support across production operations with a primary focus on lamination. This role assists with setting up and supporting lamination processes, handling materials, inspecting parts for quality, and performing general production tasks. The position may be assigned to other departments as business needs change, but will be primarily utilized in Lamination. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Learn and follow work order instructions, job bags, and quality standards. Assist with lamination processes including hand application of adhesives and guiding materials. Support operation of lamination-related equipment such as back splitters, corner rounders, and grommet machines. Cut and prepare raw materials to required measurements. Inspect overlays, windows, and assembled parts for clarity, accuracy, alignment, and finish. Waste strip, de-slug, and package parts according to specifications. Report discrepancies, imperfections, or material issues to appropriate personnel. Maintain daily production records and inventory tags when assigned. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all plant safety procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned to support production goals. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, but the Laminator is expected to adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards while demonstrating leadership in production accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following requirements. Ability to understand and exceed customer expectations regarding product quality. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. One to three months of related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on training. Experience in printing, lamination, or manufacturing is a plus. Must have good judgment of color, design, and print quality. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, job specifications, and safety guidelines. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute detailed written and verbal instructions. Ability to identify and resolve material or equipment-related issues efficiently. Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Requirements This is a full time, Monday - Friday position with general working hours 7:00am to 3:30pm and overtime as required.
