SUMMARY We are seeking a highly observant, detail-oriented and hands-on Production Assistant to support daily production operations and continuous improvement initiatives. This position works closely with production management and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate documentation, smooth workflow, and ongoing process improvements throughout the plant. RESPONSIBILITIES * Review, organize and file all production-related documents * Double-check forms for completeness and accuracy * Perform daily data entry and maintain production records * Assist in coordinating and documenting employee training * Verify incoming deliveries against packing list and conduct receiving process * Greet and escort vendors as needed * Collect and organize production data for reporting and analysis * Assist in updating and presenting performance metrics * Support daily and monthly improvement action plans * Participate in process improvement activities on the production floor * Help develop and maintain standard procedures and training materials * Identify opportunities for efficiency, accuracy and waste reduction * Support cross-functional project execution * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential functions satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE * High School Diploma required * Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in technical field such as Food Science or Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form  * Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals and electrical diagrams, including set-up control loops  * Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving and recommend practical solutions * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong time management and multitasking abilities in deadline-driven environment * Ability to build trust and effectively interact with all levels of the organization * High attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment * Ideal candidate must be able to read and comprehend simple written and verbal instructions  * Draft memos and correspondence with ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization  * Excellent written and oral communication skills  * Bilingual in speaking and written English and Chinese/Spanish Preferred ABOUT THE COMPANY Founded in 1888, Lee Kum Kee, a Hong Kong-based global food company, specializes in creating condiments and sauces that promote Chinese cuisine worldwide.
