Job Description MS NOW (Versant News Promotion) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Production Assistant to support the News Promotion team in developing on-air and digital marketing content for a fast-paced, deadline-driven TV news environment. This role provides hands-on support across writing, editing, and production workflows, helping bring promotional campaigns, topical spots, and breaking-news marketing to air and online. If you love to edit video, work with graphics and want to jump start your career in Creative Marketing & Promotion, this role is for you. The ideal candidate brings experience in video production. A supportive self-starter with the ability to support promo producers and internal marketing clients with minimal supervision, while thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Requirements: Work closely with Associate Producers and Producers by assisting them in editing video and graphics Assist with writing, editing, logging, and organizing footage for promotional projects Assist with voiceover sessions, basic edits, and versioning for different platforms Pitch smart and engaging ideas for daily and future promotional assets that will resonate with our audience Mine and edit the best video and sound for assigned projects Maintain organization of promo libraries, deliverables Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in broadcast, digital or cable, including internships Experience editing video on Premiere and/or Avid Interest and passion for marketing and advertising. Up on the latest news across multiple subject areas Ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail under intense deadline Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience Desired Qualifications: You thrive working in a collaborative team environment You pay attention to the details of everything you work on You are a team player and willing to serve various roles for a given project. Additional Requirements: Willing to work in New York, New York Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Salary Range: $19-$30 hourly, OT eligible.
