Job Details Job Location: NC - Charlotte, NC 28273 Salary Range: $17.75 Hourly Job Shift: 1st shift 6:00 am -2:30 pm SUMMARY Perform variety of tasks involved to assist in production activities. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs work as assigned by Production Manager, Production Supervisor, lead or designee. Pull packaging supplies (boxes, pallets, bags, etc.) per traveler. Read job specifications (e.g. job travelers) and fully understand process prior to beginning each operation (e.g. pick and pack per method). Move documentation back and forth to administrator and attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages. Place finished goods on the designated pallet and move finished product to shipping (physically). Perform operation to acceptable quality standards and transports finished work pieces. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Accurately complete all documentation as required to complete each job. Performs housekeeping duties around work center such as emptying trash bins and keeping isles clear of clutter to avoid slips, trips, and falls. Does not perform quality tasks or decisions. QUALIFICATIONS Ability to run and maintain machinery (band saw, shrink wrap, etc.) that is involved with individual task. Required to perform basic math and have ability to read and use a tape measure. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write, fill out paperwork and keep track of time in English. Ability to comprehend written and oral job instructions in English. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
