Job Description As a Production Assistant, you are responsible for assisting production personnel on NASCAR with the potential for filling similar duties on Golf, WNBA and Atlantic 10 Basketball (Men and Women) and other USA Sports productions. Responsibilities: Handle remote and/or studio production needs and requests Assist with editing of sports television and/or video segments, including, but not limited to, race cut down shows, highlight packages, bumpers and teases, as well as cueing shots and properly securing footage to be used in such segments Help coordinate the maintenance and organization of sports television and/or video graphics Support in daily highlight operation (screening, logging, writing and edit guidance) Monitor newsfeeds Secure video and audio footage to be used in highlight packages and features Learn music, video and photo libraries and archive systems Assist in graphic coordination and features production Perform required sports research Regularly generate and distribute story and show ideas for all shows and platforms Participate in production planning meetings Support all phases of production This position will require high volume travel onsite to remote sporting events Qualifications Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Minimum 1+ years of professional production experience Desired Characteristics: Ability to adhere to tight deadlines, communicate clearly and be able to handle multiple tasks in a highly pressurized environment Collaborative, team oriented and is comfortable in a group atmosphere Knowledge of NASCAR with an understanding of additional sports, including Golf and basketball Interest in sports television production Be versatile, self-motivated, energetic Excellent communication ability Possess a high level of initiative Have exceptional oral and written communication skills Team player Additional Requirements: Interested candidate must submit a resume This position will require high volume travel onsite to remote sporting events Willingness to work overtime, nights and weekends with short notice as needed Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States Must be 18 years or older Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an Versant-designated worksite.
