Adecco is currently hiring for temporary, full-time Cultivation Technicians for our client that majors in the Cannabis Industry. In this role, you will work directly with cannabis focus is on cultivation. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and quality of plants throughout their growth cycles, ensuring optimal yields and a high standard of cultivation practices.

If you have a passion for horticulture, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures in a fast-paced environment, we are looking for you!

  • Pay rate: $20.31/hour
  • Location: West Kelowna, BC
  • Shift : 7:00am to 5:00pm
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a clear criminal background
  • Must have meticulous attention to detail
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to carry out often repetitive tasks at a continuously high level of quality
  • Willingness and flexibility to complete any task that may be required
  • Must be at least 19 years of age to work in the Cannabis Industry
  • Personal protective equipment required: safety shoes
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

Responsibilities
  • Cultivation (assist with seeding, cutting, transplanting, watering, harvesting, pest control, etc)
  • for implementing all the tasks in the growing process pursuant to relevant Standard Operating Procedures ("SOPs") as instructed by the Directors of Propagation and/or Cultivation and corresponding Front Line Managers
  • Adhere to SOPs relevant to duties as assigned involving the production of cannabis.
  • Complete tasks including but not limited to, seeding, cutting, transplanting, watering, pest control, etc.
  • Responsible for appropriate documentation of tasks completed and duties discharged
  • Conduct daily care and maintenance of plants
  • Always maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility inside the production area, including routine cleaning
  • Maintain general care of tools, technical equipment, and production facility
  • Work cohesively in a group or independently as required
  • Ability to work in warm conditions
  • Ability to work with and handle disinfection chemicals
  • Ability to lift 25kg or more
  • Moderate computer skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment / machinery
  • Able to follow direction
  • Must show high-level of initiative and passion with respect to growing plants
  • Must be able to work variable shifts
  • Other duties as assigned
