Description
Reports to: Production Manager / Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities Parts and Material Transportation Transport automotive parts, tools, and materials between production areas and storage areas. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to support production schedules and minimize downtime. Material Handling and Equipment Use Load and unload materials onto vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Inventory and Documentation Verify part counts, labels, and quality during pick-up and delivery. Maintain accurate records of parts and materials movement in tracking systems. Communication and Coordination Collaborate with production teams, warehouse staff, and supervisors to prioritize tasks. Respond to urgent requests for parts and materials delivery as required. Support Production Goals Assist with organizing and maintaining storage areas to ensure easy access to materials. Provide general support to production and logistics teams as needed, including overtime shifts. Support the Last Mile department in getting vehicles ready for delivery. When required, assist other departments such as Parts, Mechanics, Lot Attendants, Photography, and Detailing. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. License: Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario). Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions. Background Check: Clean criminal background check. Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada. Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.
