ONE OF OUR GREAT CLIENTS IN HAMILTON, NY IS SEEKING A PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE TO JOIN THEIR TEAM!

This role is responsible for performing compounding operations to manufacture the company’s non-sterile product. The ideal candidate will follow standard operating procedures, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and assist other departments as needed to ensure smooth production processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in a science-related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of compounding processes and equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
  • May require lifting materials up to [insert specific weight, e.g., 50 pounds]
Responsibilities
  • Assist with compounding and manufacturing equipment setup.
  • Mix ingredients and operate compounding equipment in accordance with batch records and standard operating procedures.
  • Transfer finished product to holding tanks and fill rooms.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance activities as directed.
  • Disassemble and clean equipment, tanks, and work areas following SOPs.
  • Ensure cleanliness under process tanks and throughout the work environment.
  • Obtain and accurately weigh raw materials.
  • Perform material check-in and documentation.
  • Calculate quantities required and complete associated paperwork.
  • Complete all required logs, batch records, and documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Follow “done by/checked by” procedures and ensure document accuracy.
  • Maintain equipment status tags and logbooks.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and dispose of materials in accordance with safety policies.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate representative.
  • Operate non-sterile filling, labeling, and packaging machines as needed.
  • Support the packaging line with product preparation and handling.
  • Complete required training and submit documentation to the training department.
  • Follow gowning procedures and aseptic techniques in the Formulation Room.
  • Cross-train on other processes and equipment to support production needs.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
