Description

Essential Tasks and Duties: * Trained to successfully perform basic machine set up and operation, including camera, profiles and settings based on instructions provided. * Reviews job instructions and validates output matches instructions and samples prior to receiving sign off * Able to accurately pull and/or validate materials for the job run based on instructions provided. * Able to make mailing standard quality assessments and to escalate issues, errors and machine anomalies. * Consistently follows standard operating procedures for mail pulls, tray checks, alignment, shift and other issues. * Reconciles and balances job output for accuracy and quality * Accurately stack, tray or palletize finished output. Able to stage finished product as directed for next process step. * Performs machine clean-up/basic maintenance procedures as directed by the standard operating procedures. * Returns inventory accurately, preparing a clean desk space for each job run. * Alerts management to downtime opportunities and actively seeks to support all steps in the production process. * Other department, subdivision duties as assigned Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED preferred * Possess a valid State issued Driver’s License or Identification Card in the applicable state of employment at all times Requirements: Skills and Competencies: * Demonstrates a can-do team attitude with the ability to take direction and assist others in a professional manner * Ability to read, learn, apply and retain basic operational procedures for the running of equipment. * Strong organizational skills and be detail oriented; ability to multi-task * Able to count, balance counts, and escalate issues beyond basic troubleshooting skills. * Basic Data Entry skills are required * Basic computer/touch screen experience * Able to use applications on a desktop or mobile device that requires selecting/clicking/scrolling activity. Physical Requirements: (applies to all levels) * Multi-limb and eye-hand coordination * Able to stand, bend, reach, stoop and lift boxes up to 35 lbs. * Able to lift and move boxes and materials 50% of work day * Able to walk and stand for a full work day * Able to work in a fast pace environment * Able to work overtime/weekends/holidays as scheduled every month

Responsibilities

The Production Associate is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of production machinery to ensure quality output. They are also tasked with reconciling job output, palletizing finished products, and following standard operating procedures.
