Description
Position Title: Production Associate Reports To:  Supervisor, Assembly Department: Assembly Shift: Afternoon (3:30PM - 12:00AM) Position Summary Inspect and assemble product according to Standard Operation Procedure and Customer Specifications. Pack product into prescribed packaging as per instructions. Tact time (cycle time) must be met to ensure daily customer requirements are completed.  * Essential Functions * Inspect all products visually per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). * Assemble products according to SOP and customer specifications. * Pack the correct number of parts in designated bins or alternative packaging. * Apply appropriate identification labels to bins or packaging. * Set up workstations for color changes, including secondary equipment, components, and packaging adjustments. * Identify and set aside defective parts, consulting the Team Leader, Assembly Supervisor, or Quality Inspector as needed. * Report quality concerns, equipment malfunctions, or issues to the Team Leader or Assembly Supervisor. * Additional Responsibilities * Conduct periodic inventory counts and finished product audits as needed. * Assist in sorting products to eliminate defects. * Participate in problem-solving initiatives, including 5Ps and WHY-WHY analysis. * Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leaders or Supervisors. * Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively. * Sharp mental and visual awareness to detect quality variations in products. * Proficiency in color recognition. * Strong manual dexterity. * Capability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally. * Basic computer proficiency. * Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
