SUMMARY OF POSITION The Production Associate plays a key role in supporting daily production activities within the shop. This position is responsible for assisting with wire labeling, supporting production needs, and performing local deliveries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES * Create and manage wire labels accurately based on project specifications and work orders * Support production team with general shop tasks, including assembly and organization * Operate company delivery trucks to transport materials, parts, and completed orders to job sites or vendors * Load and unload materials safely and efficiently * Maintain accurate records and tracking using Microsoft Excel * Assist with inventory organization and material handling * Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards * Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to support workflow and deadlines EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES REQUIRED Minimum Experience: 1-3 years of delivery experience, Microsoft Excel Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Certification Required: Forklift and Drivers License QUALIFICATIONS * Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or shop environment preferred * Experience driving delivery trucks (valid driver’s license required; clean driving record preferred) * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to enter, track, and manage data accurately) * Strong attention to detail, especially with labeling and documentation * Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day * Comfortable working in a warehouse/shop environment

Responsibilities

The Production Associate supports daily shop activities by creating wire labels and assisting with general assembly and organization. They are also responsible for transporting materials and completed orders to job sites or vendors using company delivery trucks.
