About The Role: Reports to the Production Manager on all matters. The Production Associate will be responsible for general labour and fabrication duties of our products. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Fabrication of architectural aluminums - cutting, drilling, notching; Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards; Assemble parts or component parts; Using different saw machines to do straight and miter cuts; Machine operation when required; Always follow safe working procedures; Ability to read and understand assembly instruction; Ability to use hand tools and accurately use a tape measure as required; Cleaning and preparing the job area before end of shift; Represent State as required, in business with customers, suppliers, visitors and other team members; and Any other tasks assigned by the Production & Fabrication Manager. Requirements & Qualifications: Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Years of Experience Experience in a Manufacturing Environment or Glass Window Wall Industry is preferred. Working Conditions Factory Plant Environment; Work may involve some exposures to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and loud noises; Work environment involves some exposure to hazards of physical risks that require knowledge of adherence to basic safety procedures; Work environment requires wearing PPE; Safety footwear, safety glasses, and hearing protection; Ability to lift up to 50lbs; and Flexible to work approved overtime, as required.
