Description GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION The Production Associate plays a key role in supporting daily manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced safely, accurately, and on schedule. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, consistency, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. Production Associates are cross-trained across various functions and are expected to learn multiple tasks, maintain productivity standards, and contribute to a positive and safety-focused work environment. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Successfully complete on-site training and demonstrate proficiency in assigned production tasks. • Perform hands-on production work including assembly, machine operation support, material handling, packaging, and other manufacturing-related tasks as assigned. • Follow all written procedures, work instructions, and verbal directions. • Perform routine quality checks on products and components to ensure adherence to company standards. • Maintain productivity levels while upholding quality expectations. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards. • Adhere to all safety policies and promptly report any hazards or concerns. • Maintain regular and punctual attendance. • Support cross-departmental production needs to maintain workflow efficiency and reduce downtime. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB Education: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: • Prior manufacturing or general production experience is preferred; however, we will train individuals who demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES • Strong attendance and reliability — punctuality is essential. • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. • Excellent attention to detail, including accurate product counts and inspection. • Basic reading, comprehension, and math skills. • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime as needed. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Ability to stand for extended periods of time. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Willingness to learn new processes, tools, and systems. • Proactive mindset with continuous improvement focus. • Commitment to workplace safety at all times. • Physically capable of performing repetitive manual tasks including lifting, bending, and reaching. $16 - $19 per hour, based on experience and skill level TeamWorld is hiring Production Associates to support our manufacturing operations in Binghamton and Conklin.
