PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE – WOOD DOOR STAINING     JOB SUMMARY: Production Associates pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely, work safely, and double-check his or her work before completing a task, all while maintaining speed and accuracy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare surfaces of wood doors for staining by sanding, cleaning, and applying pre-stain conditioner as necessary. * Apply stains and finishes evenly and consistently to achieve desired color and appearance. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning and maintaining staining equipment. * Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet quality standards. * Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE * Strong oral and written communications. * Previous experience staining wood doors or similar wood finishing experience preferred. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Able to follow written and verbal instructions. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. * Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy doors as needed. * Knowledge of different types of stains, finishes, and wood types is a plus. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * High School or Equivalent (Preferred) * Wood Working: 1 year (Required) * Hand Tools: 1 year (Required) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Able to stand the entire shift * Ability to lift up to 50lbs
