EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or custodial role is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to the site is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and prioritize quality and safety.
  • Proficient in reading, listening, writing, and speaking English.
  • Applicants with WHMIS, OAF 1 or 2 are preferred and will be top pick.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are actively seeking a Production Worker experienced in manufacturing and facility maintenance.
The ideal candidate will handle various warehouse tasks, assist with production processes, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the facility. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
Reporting to the Lead Engineering Manager, Process and Cell Development, candidates should be comfortable with hands-on responsibilities, capable of performing physical tasks, and prepared to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position and will require a minimum of 40 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Responsibilities:

  • Prepare dry chemical mixtures and operate hot press equipment.
  • Handle and clean machinery used for chemical processes.
  • Execute various operational tasks in production, including loading, transporting, cleaning, and labeling.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
  • Record production data accurately and maintain logs for orders and activities.
  • Participate in improvement projects and adhere to safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks and reporting facility issues.
  • Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including inventory management.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment.
  • Follow safety and environmental procedures when handling chemicals.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks.
  • Must be comfortable wearing PPE, such as safety eye wear, coats, gloves, and a half mask respirator. Must be clean shaven to wear the respirator to allow for a proper seal.
