Tamarack Foods is looking to hire a full-time Production Bagger Operator. Would you like to work for an established food manufacturing company with a great reputation and a family-like environment? Are you a self-starter who hates being chained to a desk all day? If so, please read on! Job Summary Our Production General Laborers will assist with various tasks within our manufacturing process. Responsibilities and Duties Assure equipment is set up appropriately for the scheduled production size or mix, change as necessary to support fulfillment of the production schedule. Perform equipment audits at scheduled intervals and when performance dictates, recording results. Respond appropriately to audit results and alarms with machine adjustments, report adjustments or changes to satisfy alarm criteria. Maintains the yield efficiency goal levels set forth by management. Perform preventative maintenance on machines as needed or assigned. Maintain open communication between production shifts and maintenance, this may include shift overlap and/or written documentation such as logbooks or journals. Contact maintenance if equipment issues cannot be resolved; provide feedback to supervisor and maintenance regarding any equipment or process concerns. Comply with company safety policies, quality, standard operating procedures (SOP), HACCP and good manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills High School diploma or equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentage calculations. Responsibilities

The Production Bagger Operator is responsible for setting up and auditing manufacturing equipment to ensure production schedules and yield efficiency goals are met. They must also perform preventative maintenance, report equipment issues, and strictly adhere to safety, quality, and sanitation guidelines.
