Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Qualified Baker to be a part of the Bakery Production Team who will be responsible for the baking of quality frozen dough products.

THE KEY DUTIES OF THIS POSITION ARE:

  • Operation of baking machinery and ovens
  • Measuring ingredients, mixing of raw materials for Icing, toppings, and fillings.
  • Monitor dough / product quality and performance on the line.
  • Cleaning of equipment and workspace
  • Complete production records and minimise waste.
  • Understand food safety standards and working in a safe manner.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE ARE:

  • Experience in a food manufacturing or baking environment.
  • Trade qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work with different food such as wheat, cheese, meat/bacon.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and multitasking.
  • Manual handling up to 25kgs
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in hot room environment.
