Description

Lift Production Bakery in North Vancouver is looking to expand its team! We are a from-scratch bakery with both retail and wholesale. We are a new and quickly growing company and are looking for passionate, experienced bakers to assist with production.
Baking experience is required for this position. Proficiency with lamination (croissants, danish, puff) as well as cookies, scones, yeasted and sourdough bread doughs is important. We are keen to train hard working and driven bakers who want to learn, grow professionally and learn! While there are opportunities for many levels of experience, experience is a big asset. Most importantly though, we look for the right attitude, coachability, and dedication to the craft.
Hours 7am-3pm

Duties may include:

  • mixing batter and doughs
  • operating mixers, overs, proofers, sheeters etc
  • producing cookies, bars, muffins, scones, buns and other bakery menu items
  • opportunity to learn more technical processes such as laminating croissants, danish etc depending on ability and experience
  • working in a team to achieve a daily prep list
  • opening and closing duties of retail counter
  • storing/packaging and monitoring inventory
  • responsible for upholding the standard of quality set by the ownership and management team
  • greeting and helping customers
  • cash handling/use of POS system
  • executing cleaning schedule and maintaining a clean and organized work space
