Creative Dining Services is seeking an experienced Production (Back-of-House) Manager to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations in a dynamic senior living environment. This role is perfect for a hands-on culinary professional who thrives in high-volume production and is passionate about delivering nutritious, beautifully prepared meals with care and consistency. What You’ll Do As the Production Manager, you’ll: * Lead and train all kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality, presentation, and safety standards. * Manage menu execution, recipe standardization, and production schedules to support resident satisfaction. * Oversee food ordering, vendor relationships, and inventory management with strong cost control. * Forecast and adjust production volumes to meet fluctuating service needs while minimizing waste. * Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment in compliance with ServSafe standards. * Partner with the Dining Services Director to achieve budget goals and continuously improve operations. What We’re Looking For * High-volume production experience — ideally in a senior living, healthcare, or large-scale hospitality setting. * Menu management expertise with a proven ability to maintain quality and variety across multiple dining options. * Hands-on knowledge of food ordering and inventory systems to ensure fiscal responsibility and efficiency. * Strong leadership and communication skills — a collaborative manager who develops and motivates their team. * Ability to stay calm under pressure and model professionalism in every interaction. Qualifications * Minimum of 3 years of food service experience (management experience preferred). * Senior living or healthcare dining experience strongly preferred. * ServSafe Certification required. * Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
