Kids Gourmet Food is a prominent catering company that specializes in providing prepared meals to the childcare sector, boasting a high volume of service across NSW, QLD, VIC & ACT Our operations are based in Brookvale, located in Sydney’s Northern Beaches (2100).
We are looking for a full-time Experienced Cook/ Chef to join our afternoon food production team. Our ideal candidate will be able to work in all aspects of busy high volume production kitchen from start to finish.

• Bulk food production
• Ability to operate machines
• Hand filling products
• Preparing raw materials
• Line work
• Repetitive duties including lifting of up to 25kg
• Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene & safety.
• Work effectively in a team
• HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S
• General kitchen cleaning

You will have:

• Previous experience cooking in a similar environment (bulk cooking)
• Must be reliable and have a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner.
• Team player and able to work autonomously.
• Be a qualified Chef / Cook
• Understanding of OH&S regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
• Kitchen hours are 2 Pm to 10 Pm. Monday through Friday. No weekends, no nights
• Applicants for Chef /Cook position must have within Australia-MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO WORK 38 HOURS EVERY WEEK (No student or WHV applicants will be considered for this role).
