EARLY DAYS FOODS – PRODUCTION CHEF

Location: Brewery Business Park, Dundalk, Co. Louth
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (Monday–Friday)
Hours: 7.5-hour shifts (primarily daytime)
Salary: €25,000 – €30,000 per annum

The Role
We’re seeking an energetic, skilled Production Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll work alongside our Head Chef to prepare nutritious meals for our core production operation in line with our high standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-volume menus according to recipes and company specifications
  • Maintain strict HACCP and food-safety standards at all times
  • Assist in menu planning, stock rotation, and portion control
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with health-and-safety regulations
  • Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and process improvements

About You

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as a chef in a fast-paced production kitchen environment
  • Food-Safety Expertise: Strong HACCP knowledge with proven compliance
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in mise en place, ensuring strict consistency in product quality and kitchen hygiene
  • Positive Mindset: “Can-do” approach with flexibility to support various production tasks
  • Professional Standards: Punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining a tidy workspace
