Responsibilities

This is a commercial kitchen and prep role, that extends into product development.

  • You will be working with our close team to produce our house-made range (this includes focaccia, lasagna, pies and baked goods), and working independently to craft our filled focaccias, and take-away goods.
  • Our goal is to create our own retail brand of products to sell in-store such as sauces, spreads, preserves, etc., that you will help develop and test recipes for.
  • Work closely with our Back of House and Deli and provide expertise and assistance when needed.
  • Hours may vary weekly depending on tasks, but we are expecting at least 3 days a week and occasionally Saturdays. Early morning starts are required.

About You:
You have much experience working within a commercial kitchen, and enjoy collaborating to bring ideas to fruition. You can think logically, balancing costs with production and can manage inventory. You work strong independently but equally with a team. You’re seeking a role with less pressure than a service kitchen, and fulfils you creatively. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $27,768.00 – $55,536.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
