As the Production Retail Clerk, you will assist the Retail Store Manager and/or Assistant Retail Store Manager in general operation of the store. Essential functions: * Consistently meet or exceed production quotas as determined by management. * Assist at donor door as necessary, including unloading of donations from donor’s vehicle. * Exercise discretion regarding acceptance and/or disposition of donated goods and maintain donor relationship through attentive customer service. * Use sound judgment in sorting/producing donations and price consistently; ensure items of value are not discarded during process. * Assist customers in loading large, purchased items. * Utilize material handling equipment to move gaylords and barrels as necessary. * Secure facility, donations, and store merchandise by implementing loss prevention and store security measures. * Sort, pull, display and arrange merchandise as instructed by store managers. * Adhere to all company personnel policies and procedures; assist all clerks and store personnel in understanding and following policies and procedures. * Promote positive teamwork among co-workers. * Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality. * Attend safety training and follow all safety procedures and protocols to always ensure a safe and supervised work environment for all employees. * Responsible for other duties as may be assigned. Ideal Candidate Profile * High School diploma or GED preferred. * Retail experience preferred but not require EOE: M/F/VETS/DISABLED What we are looking for * Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. * Excellent customer service, ability to work with diverse people. * Ability to use physical exertion such as prolonged periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, reaching and climbing; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
