Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic production team. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of materials needed to meet our production schedules. You will be responsible for executing daily priorities to process Work in Progress (WIP), ensuring accurate inventory counts, and supporting the shop floor to maintain operational efficiency.
This is a hands-on position perfect for someone who is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to process improvement.

BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (a degree is not required).
  • Up to 1 year of experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel for data entry and basic functions.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) sensitive handling procedures.
  • 1 year of experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.

Responsibilities
  • Execute daily priorities as directed by the Supervisor, Product Lead, and Make Planners to process WIP supporting production schedules.
  • Maintain on-time cycle counts for reconciliation and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Process Mass Disposition scraps and assist with stock purges.
  • Support the shop floor by processing PCUTs for reworks on Q-notes and VQDT.
  • Process Work in Progress (WIP) to stock and perform material verification.
  • Execute material movements, including ordering components, requesting manual demand, and processing material down counts.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support production floor tasks.
  • Review shelf-life expiration dates of materials and process them for proper disposal.
  • Identify and suggest process improvement opportunities to eliminate bottlenecks and increase efficiency.
