NOW HIRING: We are looking for a Production Control Associate to join our Transportation & Infrastructure (T&I) Winsted team. The Production Control Associate s responsible for performing daily Planning & Scheduling and Production Control activities along with and providing manufacturing support. This is an onsite opportunity in Winsted, MN. Job Title: Production Control Associate Location: onsite in Winsted, MN Salary Range: $22.95 – 27.00 per hour (Non-Exempt) (In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.) Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm Shift Differential: 1stshift - N/A As a Production Control Associate, you will: * Perform standard production control quality checks ensuring accuracy of jobs before releasing to production * Completes job orders including validation of material consumption and labor transactions * Executes job change orders * Creates tags for material in process and finished materials * Creates and updates reports to support the manufacturing (i.e. CARES, labor reports, DMR, etc.) * Updates the manufacturing system for WIP * Reconciles and ensures proper paperwork is available for operations * Facilitate and support continuous improvement opportunities Role qualifications as an Production Control Associate: * Bachelor’s degree and 0 years’ experience OR a high school diploma and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing and ERP systems * Prefer experience in production control and/or scheduling * Microsoft Office skills; particularly with Excel * High attention to detail and critical thinking/problem solving * MRP/ERP knowledge * Ability to solve practical problems and make decisions within a set of guidelines * Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork * Effective verbal and written communication skills in English * Ability to work with others as part of a high-performance team * Ability to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or procedures Work Environment (Office Roles): While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit/stand; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls.
