Build the future of rail with Downer. We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Control Officer to join our QTMP team. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive production planning, coordinate materials, and ensure on-time delivery across our rollingstock manufacturing operations. About the Role As the Production Control Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating production execution in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS). You’ll ensure work orders are released on time, materials are available when needed, and production flows efficiently from station to station. This is a hands-on planning and coordination role where you’ll work closely with production, inventory, and project teams to keep everything moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate production work planning and execution in line with MPS * Release and manage production work orders (including non-conformances/design changes) * Monitor production progress across fabrication, sub-assembly, and final assembly * Manage Station VMC board for work order release and closure * Work closely with Inventory to ensure timely material delivery to line-side * Drive material expediting priorities to avoid delays * Lead daily production coordination meetings * Maintain ERP (JDEGS) master data and forecasting alignment * Escalate risks impacting schedule and implement mitigation actions   About You * Experience in production control, manufacturing, or planning environment * Strong understanding of production scheduling, MRP/ERP systems, and manufacturing processes * High-level skills in Excel and reporting tools * Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines * Strong communicator with a collaborative, team-focused approach * Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and drive solutions * Trade qualification or experience in engineering/manufacturing programs-Desirable * Experience within large-scale or complex projects   Why Join Us? * Be part of a landmark rail manufacturing project (QTMP) * Work with a collaborative, high-performing team * Opportunities for growth, development, and continuous improvement * A strong commitment to Zero Harm and employee wellbeing   How To Apply  Ready to take control of production and make an impact?
