Leidos’ Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing Facility is seeking a talented Production Control Planner to join our team located in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be planning and managing timelines and will maintain a master production schedule for assigned programs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics or business with at least 4 years of relevant production planning experience.
  • Experience in a production planning role with use of an EPR system (CostPoint Preferred).
  • Experience using an MES.
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Project.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to lead meetings.
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters degree with 2-4 years experience.
  • A working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Experience using Solumina MES.
  • Prior experience with multi-resource scheduling (Experience in a CNC machining environment is a plus).
  • Active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Planning and managing timelines for manufacturing processes to ensure timely production and delivery of goods.
  • Manage order demand for assigned programs within CostPoint (Inventory Reservations CMR, or MRP).
  • Maintain a master production schedule for assigned programs using Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools.
  • Interact with internal departments to track progress of assigned tasks.
  • Conduct status meetings with internal and external customers.
  • Perform capacity analysis for required equipment and coordinate its use.
  • Work continually to drive improvements to on time delivery.
