At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service. Responsibilities Receiving: Receive, reconcile, and properly route inbound parcel and freight shipments. Unload multiple trucks a day. Ensure all receiving is completed by EOM. Inspection & Compliance: Perform physical inspections of incoming raw materials, hardware, and specialized components to ensure they are free of damage. Documentation Management: Verify and process documentation, including Certificates of Conformance (CoC), test reports, and packing slips, ensuring 100% accuracy before parts enter inventory. ERP/MRP Data Entry: Accurately record all inbound shipments in the company’s enterprise system and communicate discrepancies to Procurement teams. Non-Conforming Material Handling: Ability to identify and segregate items that fail to meet basic quality standards or lack proper documentation. Specialized Material Handling: Safely manage the receipt of temperature-sensitive items, hazardous materials (HAZMAT) and others. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interact daily with employees from many different departments at our company Headquarters, adhering to high standards of customer service. Required High school diploma or GED equivalent. 3-5 years shipping/receiving experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods. Experience with ERP/Inventory management software tools. Strict attention to detail is required. Ability to be forklift certified. Desired Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred Strong understanding of the full Supply Chain Model and how it affects other aspects of the business Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $21-$30/hr.
