Description Directs and coordinates activities in processing materials or manufacturing products; develops optimizes, coordinates and executes all processing-related activities of injection molding operations by performing the following duties personally and through subordinate supervisors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. · Schedule production and sample activity for multi-shot production. · Issues production job tickets according to schedule. · Develops, maintains and ensures the integrity of data in SYSPRO for multi-shot items. · Processes and maintains the MRP information and output, including BOM, Forecast, Routing, pricing and descriptions. · Works closely with Shipping and Quality to ensure that product is ready to meet the shipping schedule and communicate any changes or exceptions. · Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products and mold change activity. · Compiles, stores and retrieves production data. Prepare reports as directed by the Operations Manager. · Reviews production and operating reports, resolves manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs, efficient production and to prevent operational delays. · Expedites production as needed and communicates logistics information with customer. · Strives for continuous improvement in all aspects of production. Works closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering Services and all other relevant areas to achieve improvements. · Works with Engineering Services to ensure that labor standards in the Bill of Materials exists, are accurate and are periodically audited. Measures actual performance to standards. · Contributes to team effort by accomplishing department goals. · Exhibits regular and predictable attendance. · Maintains clean and orderly work area. · Assures safe practices are implemented and followed. · Adheres to the four Core Values of Focused, Mindful, Grateful, and Conscientious as well as the Company’s Operating Principles. · Performs other duties as assigned that may be required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: · Production Control must have and be willing to main the technological competency necessary to develop and manage a world class manufacturing operation. · Demonstrates high personal integrity. · Works with the highest degree of accuracy and quality in all work performed. · Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are required. · Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively. · Ability to retain and recall product knowledge. · Strong phone contact skills and active listening. · Mathematical skills – above average mathematical skills are needed. · Must be able to communicate effectively and work well both independently and as a team. · Production Control must have experience with Automotive Industry practices and standards. · Possesses the analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to perform the job effectively EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: · High School diploma or GED with additional relevant formal education or equivalent experience is required. · 3-5 years’ experience in Automotive manufacturing (scheduling, inventory control and/or use of ERP system) is required. · Understanding of EDI function and basic transactions is preferred. · Proficient in Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities

Directs and coordinates injection molding production activities, including scheduling, material processing, and maintaining data integrity in ERP systems. Collaborates with shipping, quality, and engineering departments to ensure efficient manufacturing and continuous process improvement.
