Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Site Head of Industrial Planning we now have x2 newly created role to join our team! This role will be based at our Dandenong Manufacturing Site. You’ll enjoy scheduling and controlling the daily operations on the production line, so that they are manufactured on time in accordance with the Master Production Schedule. This is a key support function for manufacturing. These are fixed term roles for 7and 8 months contracts.
Our Dandenong Manufacturing Site has recently won a contract to build the Next Generation Trams for Melbourne, right here in Melbourne. We are now seeking candidates with the relevant skills and experience to support us with building 100 trams over the next couple of years. Valued at approximately €700 million, the contract includes supply of rolling stock and 15-year maintenance making this the biggest tram contract in Australia and in the Southern hemisphere

A BIT ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

  • You’ll be launching, coordinating and controlling the progress of Work Orders according to the MPS (Manufacturing planning & scheduling)
  • On a weekly basis, you’ll provide feedback to planning to update the MPS, regarding operational constraints
  • You’ll coordinate with logistic, Material planning and quality to allow the manufacturing team to produce as per the plan
  • Defining and implementing improvement action plans for dysfunctions on components delivered to the production Line
  • Ensure a continuous flow of materials to production line
