JOB OUTLINE

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team based in Burwell. This hands-on role is essential in coordinating the manufacture of assigned product groups, ensuring high-quality output, adherence to lead time targets, and smooth day-to-day production operations. You’ll be part of a skilled and supportive team in a technically engaging environment, where your initiative and attention to detail will directly impact product quality and delivery performance.

PERSONAL QUALITIES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a complex, demanding production environment.
· Solid knowledge of electronics or engineering to at least ONC level (HNC preferred).
· Strong understanding of test and calibration procedures with fault-finding to component level.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of managing and analyzing complex datasets.
· Familiarity with general manufacturing best practices.
· PAT Test qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate production activities to meet quality and lead time goals.
· Manufacture, test, calibrate, and pack products to documented build standards.
· Perform chemical checks on goods-in materials when required.
· Maintain and update work instructions to reflect current processes.
· Manage complex data using spreadsheets for planning and analysis.
· Fault-find, repair, recalibrate, and debug electronic and light mechanical assemblies.
· Maintain jigs, test equipment, and assembly aids
· Identify and report non-conformance issues.
· Process and plan works orders in line with MRP schedules.
· Provide cover in Goods In/Stores during absence periods, including receiving deliveries, picking works orders, and conducting stock checks.
