Description Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Compensation: The starting wage for this position is $22.00/hour. Wage Range: $22.00-$26.00/hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Employee Assistant Program, Employee Discount Program, 401(k) with up to a 4% employer match, Paid Holidays, Vacation and Sick Leave Job Description The Production Coordinator will review all product build orders, initiate product builds in manufacturing, inspect the product at each stage for quality and accuracy and dispatch product to the next appropriate stage. This position is responsible for maintaining and assigning workflows, managing build change requests, and ensuring orders are released to Fulfillment. We are seeking someone who has a general knowledge of guitar set-up, assembly, compatibility, modifications, anatomy, and manufacturers and models knowledge. Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities Include: Order Review – for cross-product incompatibilities or unadvisable feature choices. Managing Flow, Steps, and Quality Control (QC) – creating/modifying workflows, their steps, and QC items. Listing Product – to be made in manufacturing through production lists. QC and Accuracy – inspecting product for workmanship, materials, and part accuracy. Dispatch – items through the production process, regulating department work volume, and prioritizing products to meet order lead times. Managing Build Change Requests – reviewing/processing the requests, relisting product to be made, and expediting product remakes when needed. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent 2 years’ experience in Production Coordinating/Production Planning, including knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Skills: Strong verbal and written communication Strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving Strong computer literacy Time management Confident decision making Constructive attitude when assisting others Highly adaptable to changing priorities Professional email and phone etiquette Able to: navigate and use Excel and Outlook. navigate and use Magento 2. type 40 wpm and 10-key by touch. reach for, grasp, grip, lift, manipulate, and move up to 20 pounds. work accurately at a rapid pace. remain on task and focused when faced with workplace distraction. A general knowledge of: guitar assembly, set-up, and modification experience. A thorough knowledge of: all guitar and bass neck and body shapes and parts. product compatibility with internal vs. external parts. all wood types for bodies, lam tops, necks, etc. all hardware items and their supporting parts. Working Environment: This position does not supervise other positions. It is full-time, onsite, Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. The work location for this position is a warehouse and may occasionally experience a loud environment. This work area is partially temperature controlled and may experience higher temperatures in the summer. This individual will primarily work independently but will interact with other individuals in the warehouse throughout the day as needed. This position will spend most of the day standing or sitting at a desk, working at a computer, speaking with individuals on the phone or in person.
