REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Commerce or Operations Management) is required
  • Diploma in Human Resources is an asset
  • 3+ years of experience as a machine operator is required
  • 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, specifically in custom merchandising displays and point-of-purchase (POP) displays is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Familiarity with production tracking software or ERP systems (Sphire)
    Hours of Work: 30 hours/week
    Language: English

Responsibilities
  • Oversees the team of Production Team Leads and assists with labor reallocation as needed
  • Ensures efficient job completion while adhering to quality standards and deadlines
  • Collaborates with the Inventory Team Lead to address inventory shortages and communicates issues with the Production
  • Reviews all job cards daily to verify accurate posting of materials and labor before closure
  • Maintains essential documentation, including Health and Safety Records, Employee Training Records, and Equipment Records
  • Tracks job times and reports plant efficiency by production employee
  • Report equipment issues to the maintenance team and the Operations Manager
  • Develops and monitors KPIs for the team
  • Provides feedback to the Operations Manager regarding individual production performance for annual reviews and the merit program
  • Ensures full compliance with company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards
  • Protects client and company confidentiality by securing sensitive information
  • Fosters positive working relationships with team members and managementFully cooperates with all Marketing Impact Limited staff to maintain a streamlined and productive organization
