  Our Melbourne-based client is seeking a dedicated VFX Coordinator with a proven track record of at least two years in a VFX studio environment.
  In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless progression of visual effects projects, across multiple shows. This includes managing technical processes like plate pulling, shot loading, and overseeing the colour pipeline. You will act as a central point of communication, fostering collaboration among internal teams and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet the highest quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Work closely with VFX Producers, Managers, and Supervisors to develop and maintain project timelines.
• Coordinate dailies, rounds, and meetings, ensuring notes are recorded and followed up on for artists and leads.
• Support resource planning by assigning tasks with leads and monitoring workloads to meet targets.
• Monitor the progress of VFX shots throughout the pipeline, ensuring milestones are achieved.
• Facilitate communication between teams and departments, both in-person and via email or Shotgrid, with timely follow-ups.
• Manage vendor communication to ensure clarity on timelines and deliverable expectations.
• Record and distribute client and vendor feedback, ensuring all notes are addressed.
• Assist artists in meeting deadlines and maintaining workload balance to reduce overtime.
• Provide artists with the tools and resources required for optimal performance.
• Regularly assess schedules with the team to ensure realistic goals.
• Maintain accurate tracking of artist work schedules.
• Source and provide additional assets or stock elements for the team as needed.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment by maintaining a positive and proactive approach.
