This position is responsible for scheduling and providing work direction for staff to assure proper workflow that successfully meets company cost, quality, and delivery objectives. This role is also the team primary contact for communication with other warehouse departments and office staff. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES A successful Production Coordinator will: Assure staff and order scheduling maximizes machine capacity. Provide direction to off-shift leads/supervisors. Ensure daily/weekly preventative maintenance on all equipment, communicate any machine issues, and perform machine repairs as needed. Facilitate training for new and current associates to the standard process within the department. Ensure quality decoration of product through QC inspection and large order approval. Audit supply inventory for production and ensure all operators have resources needed to perform their job effectively. Communicate positively within and across departments to gather information needed to make decisions. Identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes when necessary. Inspire, influence, and guide others to participate in common goals. Effectively delegate and empower others to manage increasing workload as needed. Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to stand for 7-9 hours per day A minimum of 12 months related experience Detail oriented, organized, and accurate Positive attitude and team leader Intermediate skills and knowledge Excellent vision and fine motor skills to work with detailed products, small parts machinery, and fine threads. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly. Ability to read and understand basic English instruction (colors, left/right) Excellent employee relations skills to lead in a team setting.
