ROLE PURPOSE: The Production Coordinator will assist the department supervisor in daily operations and administrative duties. This role works in collaboration with the planning team and manufacturing operation to ensure that work orders are batched and prepped for release to the manufacturing floor, as well as maintain accurate production tracking and reporting to senior management. STATUS: Non-Exempt WORKING HOURS: 7:00am – 3:30pm M-F (extended hours during busy season) WORK LOCATION: 3157 Buford Highway, Buford, GA 30518 Please note: This position is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship by the company now or in the future. Candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full time basis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Report Production and Entry into NetSuite and Productivity Tracker daily by 9:00AM Perform Daily Work Order Build for each line in NetSuite Verify completed work orders/ WIP inventory accuracy Update status on pending work order completion Forecast and coordinate requirements for mini-work flows (i.e. label applications, box prepping…etc) Review batch records for accuracy Make scrap adjustment in NetSuite Assemble and release of Work Order Packets/Job Travelers to Production Printing and assembling pick tickets and Labels for work orders Perform inventory cycle counts of raw materials in warehouse Engage and coordinate with line operators to resolve any discrepancies with production and inventory numbers Cross-train and provide support in manufacturing and/or fulfillment operations during periods of low activity, including operating production equipment, performing assembly tasks, or picking/processing fulfillment orders to maintain workflow efficiency and product quality.
