Description Responsibilities: This position will coordinate the daily activities for blow molding, closures, and injection production to ensure continuous flow of product. Position will monitor quality, production, safety, supplies, member performance and critical items for the production day. Coordinator will take corrective action as needed. Position will ensure a safe and secure environment for all members by heightening safety awareness through the training and feedback of safe working techniques and housekeeping practices. Will review performance of members and use excellent interpersonal skills to coach, teach and motivate members. Production data will be entered into computer system. Requirements Experience/Education Needed: Bachelor’s degree preferred. In lieu of degree, must have at least three years of supervisory experience in a high-speed automated manufacturing plant. Must have mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills and have good written and verbal communication skills. Key Requirements: Direct, organize and coordinate efforts for production requirements Coaching, mentoring, and supporting production personnel Monitor housekeeping and safety issues and react accordingly Documentation (timesheets, production reporting, log books, personnel files) Ensure adequate staffing and adjust according to schedule changes Ability to foster a strong work ethic in an environment built on teamwork and continuous improvement Monitor SPC and react to quality issues Plan, organize, communicate and attend meetings (team and staff meetings) Responsible for the coordination of all activities for the assigned shift to ensure productivity and quality targets are met. May work day, evening and/or night shifts. Total shift flexibility is a must
