Job Details Job Location: Birmingham, AL Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: Undisclosed Job Shift: Day Job Category: Marketing Job Summary This position provides creative copy for all assigned projects, including broadcast TV and radio, direct mail, digital and print campaign. Responsibilities: Writes TV and Radio scripts for clients Writes copy for digital ads and special projects Works closely with Creative Director on execution of the scripts Copy development for other agency projects (client eblast campaigns, direct mail campaigns, ads, press releases, as well as internal copywriting needs) Works with Account Team staff for copy development and execution of scripts by deadline Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or related field — or relevant writing experience in lieu of a degree 1–3 years of copywriting or content creation experience (agency, in-house, freelance, or internship accepted) Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences, formats, and brand voices Basic understanding of advertising and marketing principles Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Comfortable receiving feedback and revising work quickly Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Google Workspace a plus Familiarity with digital marketing, social media, and advertising trends Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating creative concepting and copywriting ability
