For more information about the University, please visit https://www.hkmu.edu.hk We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences: The appointee will participate in a 70-90 minute film production project which aims to provide current students with hands-on experience in filmmaking, through collaboration with teachers. The following positions are open for recruitment: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Production Assistant - Supporting day to day operations on set, including logistics, scheduling and communication; - Assisting the director and production team with coordination of cast and crew; and - Handling administrative tasks and on-set problem solving to ensure smooth workflow. Assistant - Art Department - Providing support to the art director in set design, props preparation, and visual continuity; - Assisting with construction, decoration, and maintenance of sets; and - Ensuring design elements are delivered on time and within budget. Assistant - Costume Team - Supporting the costume designer in fittings, alterations, and wardrobe organization; - Maintaining costumes during production and assisting actors with changes; and - Coordinating with other departments to ensure costumes align with the film’s visual style. Other relevant positions - Depending on project needs, applications for other crew positions not listed above (e.g., assistant camera, sound, lighting, or props) are also welcome.
