POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Production Designer to join our client’s design team. This team helps bring new device offerings to market—products, services, brands, and categories by creating a variety of digital assets that are used to engage and attract customers on their website and in Retail
Stores.
In this role, you will be creating digital assets used to engage and attract customers, working alongside a global team of designers, writers, and production teams.
Your primary focus will be to adjust design key art given by Visual Designers to multiple new sizes and platforms, making those adjustments visually compelling for internal and external stakeholders, you will require knowledge to retouch static images and be able to perform photo editions. You will work closely with product and marketing teams as well as the larger creative team to bring ideas to life to help drive new business. Prior experience with templatized graphics and following brand guidelines is required. You also must have experience designing large-scale digital campaigns, be able to work in an iterative process, and professionally accept art direction and feedback. In addition to strong design skills, you must have strong organizational skills, web expertise, typography skills, and acute attention to detail.
The ideal candidate must be able to blend strong production design skills with technological excellence to create seamless workflows throughout the design process. You have experience working in fast-paced and detailed environment to deliver marketing and merchandising materials around globally. You will be expected to dive deep into current and future team needs to help the team find the best use of resources for any given project. You must be able to work iteratively and professionally and accept art direction and feedback.

Responsibilities:

  • Create merchandising and marketing campaigns that elevate the client’s device brand across multiple online and offline channels.
  • Work with internal clients to define standards for different work requests.
  • Grow team knowledge of production best practices and stay abreast of the latest in technological solutions that enable better creative workflows.
  • Understand design principles that help drive successful design.
  • Communicate design rationale in a clear, respectful and open, fluent manner across all stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and overlapping deadlines.
  • Build trust, respect, and credibility with stakeholders and team members

Qualifications:

  • An online portfolio or work samples demonstrating production design in the television/film context.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design or 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with design principles, typography, layout, and grid structures.
  • High proficiency in design tools from Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills and team-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines through ticketing systems.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of the design process, specifically production design.
  • English B2+

This is a hybrid role with 1 day a week in the office in AFZ.
