ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in Graphic Design or a related subject
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar production or customer-focused design role
• Excellent proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
• A self-starter mindset with a proactive attitude toward learning and problem-solving
• Collaborative team spirit and a positive, can-do approach

THE ROLE

As a Production Designer at Neon Filter, you’ll play a key role in turning customer ideas and artwork into beautifully crafted LED neon signs. You’ll be using Adobe Illustrator to refine and prepare designs for production, communicating with customers to understand their needs, and helping them choose the right product, style, or customisation option from our range of services.
You’ll also be trained to use CAD software to produce accurate production files and work closely with our production and design team to ensure each sign is both visually stunning and manufacturable.
You’ll join a close-knit design team of three, collaborating on customer orders, new product launches, and internal creative projects. From answering emails and phone enquiries to contributing to seasonal design collections, you’ll be part of a dynamic, creative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and edit customer artwork using Adobe Illustrator
• Prepare neon sign mockups and production files using CAD tools (training provided)
• Communicate with customers via email and phone to understand their needs and recommend design solutions
• Support the launch of new collections and product ranges through collaborative design work
• Maintain an organised workflow and meet production deadlines
• Contribute ideas and improvements to the design process and customer experience
• Handle multiple projects at once with attention to detail and creative flair
• Collaborate daily with the wider design and production team
