OVERVIEW

Morning Brew is seeking a Part Time Production Designer to join our growing Design team! The Production Designer will report to the Design Director. You will be working closely with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to bring Morning Brew brands to life through personality-rich visual experiences. You should have a flexible style with the ability to adapt to Morning Brew’s look and feel, and always look for the best approach to a creative brief. You are highly collaborative and are able to work closely with our Sales, Strategy, Marketing, and Design teams to produce a wide range of designed materials with an understanding of business needs and priorities. The ideal candidate can work both independently and collaboratively and is comfortable juggling multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders at once.
Morning Brew is based in New York City but this role is remote-friendly for all candidates.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience in graphic design, preferably for an advertising or media company
  • Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively with non-Designers while maintaining ownership of design quality in a fast pace, high-growth environment
  • Expert design skills and confidence in typography, color theory, and layout
  • Experience designing sales materials and an eye for creative presentation design
  • Experience with AI art platforms like Midjourney and an openness to exploring new technologies as tools for internal creative collaboration and development
  • Extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft and Google Publishing suites, and Google Drive
  • The ability to work independently, problem solve, and deliver creative solutions beyond surface level
  • The understanding and ability to follow brand guidelines, and fill in the blanks when necessary
  • Great time management skills, with a proactive, solution-orientated outlook
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player
  • Ability to give, receive, and incorporate feedback well
