JOB TITLE: PRODUCTION & DESPATCH SUPPORT OPERATIVE

Hours: Full-Time – 7.30am - 16.30pm

Are you a hands-on, proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment? We’re looking for a reliable and energetic individual to support our Transport and Production Planning Team, focusing primarily on the day-to-day coordination and movement of goods on the shop floor.
This is a floor-based operational role where you’ll work closely with production teams, drivers, and logistics staff to keep stock and despatch activities running smoothly.

• Actively coordinating and preparing goods for despatch on the shop floor.
• Liaising directly with production teams to confirm readiness of loads and monitor job progress.
• Assisting with loading/unloading tasks and ensuring items are correctly staged for delivery.
• Communicating with drivers and the transport team to manage collections and drop-offs.
• Printing and applying labels to outgoing goods, ensuring all items are properly identified.
• Checking stock availability for upcoming jobs and reporting shortages or issues.
• Keeping despatch and stock areas clean, organised, and compliant with safety procedures.
• Updating basic data into internal systems (e.g. confirming load readiness, flagging issues).
• Supporting the planning team with occasional office-based coordination or paperwork.
