Production Drill Operator Position Description The Kibali Gold Mine Team is seeking to recruit a Production Drill Operator to join and grow our team. Responsibilities: Contribute to our J20-Journey to Zero safety culture while adhering to all health and safety standards, policies, procedures and legislation. Ensure the operation of the long-hole platform for mine stopping in a safe and efficient manner. Avoid over-drilling and under-drilling and work in accordance with the standards, development and geotechnical plans. Follow the markings in accordance with geological, regulatory and surveying specifications. Install mining services if necessary. Work with the technical team and the supervisory team to achieve the quality and adequate safety standards related to the operations. Ensure that the end-of-shift report is updated. Work according to the instructions of the Shift Supervisor in accordance with the daily division of duties. Work within ISO 14001 and 45001 standards. Qualification Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Drilling Machinery Competency Certification.
