Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Electronics Production Engineer to join their expanding team in Guildford. This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in a varied and technically engaging position within a well-established organisation that delivers advanced electronic solutions across multiple sectors.
This office-based role involves working in an ESD-safe lab and workshop and will require the successful candidate to be eligible for UK Government security clearance.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or HND in Electronics or a related Engineering discipline
  • Hands-on experience programming and testing electronic systems using standard workshop tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Friendly and approachable team player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Eligible to obtain UK Government security clearance
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Guildford, Surrey
  • Desirable experience with PCB design or CAD tools would be advantageous
Responsibilities
  • Program and test PCBs and systems using both Linux- and Windows-based software
  • Create and maintain assembly and test documentation
  • Support electronic assembly processes including box builds and cable harnesses
  • Collaborate with design and development engineers on technical tasks
  • Work safely and consistently in an ESD-protected environment
  • Manage workshop stores, including handling goods in and out
  • Order electronic components in line with Bills of Materials
  • Provide administrative support for production and build activities as required
