  • Knowledge and understanding of production techniques
  • Ability to identify and develop production engineering procedures
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Background in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Understanding of the MRP process

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PRODUCTION ENGINEER

  • HNC / HND Level qualified in relevant engineering subject
  • Formal training in Lean is advantageous but not essential

THE ROLE

As a Production Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll provide technical production engineering support on a high value and prestigious project.

Day-to-day, you’ll support the manufacturing process covering areas such as assembly, CNC machining, fabrication and welding process support.

  • Liaise with other functions to analyse, plan and implement solutions
  • Determine and develop the necessary process specifications
  • Use lean manufacturing tools and techniques
  • Develop and implement production performance metrics
  • Assist with project plans and budget reporting when required

This role is full time, 36 hours per week is based at Rosyth, Fife.
